The next to last prompt for the Xmas Magic challenge was sheep. Can you believe we are on number 11 out of 12?
As I couldn’t find a sheep in any of my coloring book and I already had two writings back to back, I decided this would be another crafting project. I decided to do something I’d only dabbled in once before and can’t even remember what became of it. I decided to make a needle felted sheep.
I found a kit on Amazon that supposedly had everything I needed and a tutorial. I’ll be honest, while the materials were there and that was helpful, nothing else about the kit was. It lacked a mat to work on and anything to protect my fingers. Also the instructions and video tutorial was not helpful at all. Maybe if you had zero experience needle felting but I was hoping for detailed instructions because autistic brain want to know exactly how much, how big, how many. This gave me none of that.
That aside, I had a lot of fun with this project. My fingers, thanks to many pokes with a sharp needle, did not. I used the lack of detailed instructions to improvise. I created the most adorable and derpy sheep, if I do say so myself. I love him!
