Come up with a crazy business idea.
Don’t put me on the spot like that! All my best ideas, the truly crazy ones that are also absolutely would make great businesses if given half the chance come in spur of the moment conversations, typically with my husband who come up with some idea and I make it 500 times better by making it crazier and also at the same time completely logical and practical. It’s a rare skill.
I will say, my mother once told me I should start a business selling excuses because I came up with so many as a child. I always pictured this looking a little like Lucy and her “Psychiatric Help” booth. Like just me sitting there and people coming up asking for an excuse not to do something or a reason why they didn’t do it. I was very creative like that and because I absolutely can’t lie, the excuses always had something that made them true so they were completely believable.
I think this would do well in today’s economy. Would you buy excuses so you didn’t have to come up with them?
