I mean this is very vague. What kind of news am I getting? Like I get that it’s really good news but it’s job related? Health related? Financial? Did I win an award? I mean good news still has categories and how I react would vary at least a little depending on that.

I mean if it was good news in the health category that probably means I’ve been dealing with something not so good so thats a sense of relief mixed in with the celebratory feelings. I don’t know. I’ve never really been in that situation.

I guess regardless of the category of good news, the very first thing I would do is verify it. I often doubt good things so double checking all the things would probably be my first step. After that and knowing that I actually had reason to celebrate, I would call my husband and partner. Ideally reach them at the same time but inform them somehow and we would plan a celebration i guess? I mean I honestly don’t these vague hypothetical scenarios and my brain are not friends.
