Daily Prompt – March 1, 2026

Yes…and no. I do believe that there are people in our life we are destined to meet and events we are fated to experience. I believe that these are determined by our past lives. What I don’t believe is that there is only one path. I believe the choices we make determine when, where, and how we will meet these people or experience those events. I also believe that those choices impact how those people and events impact us. So while we are destined to meet someone it doesn’t mean their role in our life is predetermined or that event will have the same impact on our journey. A job that was supposed to be great could become toxic because of a choice we made earlier but we are still destined to experience.

Ultimately I believe life is a balance between free will and predetermined situations. It’s what keeps us on our toes.
