The first prompt of the March of Robots art challenge is robot head 01. The reason for the 01 is that there are 4 robot head prompts during this month long challenge.
Drawing is hard for me. I can’t do freehand. I mean I can but I hate how it looks. I obsess over the wobbly lines and my inability to get the shapes the way I want them. I’ve learned to use tools instead. Stencils are my friend.
For this prompt I used a set of architectural stencils along with some household objects to create my robot head. I then inked it with one of my fountain pens. I colored the majority of the head with colored pencils and the details with fountain pens.
