Daily Prompt – March 20, 2026

This was clearly written by someone who doesn’t have tattoos. It’s a known fact that most of us with tattoos have more than one that we want at any given time it’s just a question of time and cost.

I have at least 4 tattoos I want. And I know where I want them. Now 2 of them kinda go together but I’m counting them separately because I could easily get them done that way.

1. I want a Cheshire Cat tattoo. This shouldn’t really come as a surprise to anyone who follows me. He’s my spirit animal. He would go on my right shoulder as I have a Smurfette tattoo on my left and the idea is similar to devil and angel on my shoulders. They represent 2 different sides of me. I also want to be clear that this would be the original purple and pink Cheshire Cat from the animated Disney movie not the dark gothic one from the Tim Burton live action one.
2. I also want a Cheshire Cat quote, “Imagination is the only weapon in the war with reality.” This has always spoken to me and I completely agree with it. I want this on my back but I want it to weave around the other tattoos on my back sort of tying them together. Because of the placement and design that I want, the actual Cheshire Cat tattoo needs to come first.
3. I want a moon and wave tattoo. This is inspired by a TikTok of all things that my partner sent me a couple of years ago when we were going through a difficult time. It helped remind me of who we were to each other and it’s been a powerful image for me since. I would put this on my chest on the right side just below the clavicle. I have a sunset over the water tattoo on the left side in the same location so these would pair well.
4. I want a fountain pen tattoo. I want it on my right forearm because I’m right handed and it’s a pen, I even have the perfect amount of space left but its in a tough to heal spot so I may need to consider alternative placements. Hopefully no one reading this needs to know why I want this

I am sure there will be others, there always are. I’ve had other ideas. I have other images saved for possible tattoos but these 4 are the most pressing and next in line. If I can find an artist and the time and the money.
