Daily Prompt – March 29, 2026

I don’t know how to define it. Laughter is instinctual. Something either makes me laugh or doesn’t. It’s also mood based. The same thing can make me laugh in one mood and cry in another. I wish I could say something as simple as “this kind of comedy always makes me laugh” or “this person makes me laugh.” My brain just doesn’t work that way. Sure my husband and my partner are great at making me laugh. But that not like a they always do it thing. There are plenty of times that they try but my brain doesn’t work the way they want,

I am too literal minded for much of the humor in the world.
