Daily Prompt – January 30, 2026

I complain about a lot of things. Probably more than I should. I get annoyed easily, by changes in routine or patterns. Changes in the things I expect to happen. I complain about aches and pains and itchy spots that don’t stop. I complain about technology like an old woman sometimes.

All that said, there are 2 things I complain about the most. One is very broad and the other very specific. The specific thing I complain about a lot is school. I’ve mentioned before that I am in my last year of grad school and am just ready to be done. I am tired of the time sink and the effort spent on papers and presentations that mean nothing. I’m ready to move on with life.

The other thing, the broad thing I complain about is people. People in general annoy me. Yes there are a few specific people that annoy me less or whom while annoying I also care so deeply about that it outweighs their annoyingness. In general however, I don’t like dealing with people. The hard part is they all seem to love to deal with me!
