Have you ever unintentionally broken the law?
Probably? Maybe? Likely? I mean it’s unintentional so I probably don’t know. I think theres a really good chance. I mean we all occasionally go over the speed limit without thinking about it. I’m sure there are some obscure laws that I have broken without knowing it because they are obscure.
On general principle, not only do I not try to break the law but I actively try to follow them. I have a fear of breaking the rules even when others seem to get away with it. I never seem to be able to. So I’m sure I might had accidentally run a light or missed a stop sign, not only was it unintentional but the moment I realized it, I had to fight the urge to report myself.
There is one law that I got pulled over for that I absolutely had no clue I was breaking and am still quite flummoxed by to this day. I was driving home from work at like 1030/11pm and was pulled over for driving too slow. I always knew there was a speed limit but I never knew it was illegal to drive under the limit.
Always learning I guess.
