Which languages do you speak and how did that impact your life?
Technically I speak English, Spanish, Hebrew, Yiddish, and ASL. However of all of those I really only know English any more. Spanish was forced on me in school Hebrew seems to come with being Jewish as does Yiddish. ASL I took in college because I wanted to but struggled after the first course.
I’m not really sure how it has impacted my life. I know just enough of each of the other languages to say a few things. Some stuff sticks better than others. I am lucky that i have never been in a situation where I couldn’t work with knowing English.
