Daily Prompt – August 17, 2026

It really kinds of depends on the situation and what type of uncertainty we’re talking about. Big picture stuff like death and not knowing what happens when we die, I’m great with that. It’s like an adventure and I’m excited to find out. Financial uncertainty is very different. I don’t deal with that well at all and do everything possible to avoid it. In general I do what I can to avoid uncertainty in the areas I can control. I try to know what to expect from new places we’re going. Not like every detail but important travel ones that make for a smoother trip. I want there to be unexpected moments, those are usually good things. My aim is to reduce the things that cause stress by being prepared and informed.
