Daily Prompt – August 26, 2026

The answer is obviously the book world. To clarify that is an actual fictional world created by author Jasper Fforde in his Thursday Next series of novels. The novels take place in a world where people can enter the world of a book and interact with it. I think it would be quite fun to pop in and out of various stories and see how the characters behave when they aren’t on the page. That’s the entire idea behind the book world, the characters lives continue, even when the writing stops.
