What are three objects you couldn’t live without?

I’m gonna fight hard not to take this literally because I know that I could realistically live without the things I’m about to mention. That said, I also know I am quite guilty I’ve saying things like “I can’t live without x.” So, what are the 3 things I’m most likely to say that about?

The first is most definitely my cellphone. I had to go most a day without it a few weeks ago because the screen had gotten cracked and it was in for repair and I felt completely lost. Even when I’m streaming I rely on my phone quite a bit. Now I’m not one of those people who lives on their phones. I use my iPad and computers for other things. Yes, multiple computers, thats a story for another day. My phone however is my connection to people, its the fast and quick source of information, its a lot of things and I definitely feel off without it.

The second object would be my fidget ring. I am on my 3rd of these rings. The very first one, my father bought for me in NY when we were there to see a show on Broadway. I don’t remember my exact age at the time but at least 18 I’d say. We were wandering shops and I saw this ring. It’s very simple a few pieces of silver wire and some gold and silver beads. The focal point of the ring has the wire arranged in 3 curved lines with beads on each. The beads move freely, allowing for me to play with them. This is by design. It’s great for fidgeting and when I’m anxious. I remember my father being very confused by my desire for this ring and me explaining it would be hours of amusement. Here we are all those years later and I’m on my 3rd version of the exact same ring. Replacing it only when the beads fall off or some other irreparable damage happens. I have many meaningful rings on my hands but this one is a lifeline to sanity.

The 3rd object would be my night guard. I grind and clench my teeth in my sleep something fierce. It took years to figure that out too and cost me lots of time and money at the dentist because I kept breaking fillings. Having my night guard protects my teeth and my sanity. I have horrible dental anxiety bordering on phobia and knowing that I’m protecting my teeth from damage in my sleep helps me sleep. I’ve fallen asleep without it before and there is nothing more heart stopping than waking myself up with the sound and feeling of a hard grind that feels like something cracked. So yeah, I’ll avoid that, please and thank you.
