Daily Prompt – May 6, 2026

I don’t want a superpower. I am already blessed with extreme intuition that I feel gets me in trouble despite how much it helps. Having any kind of actual superpower, feels like an excellent way to end up with a target on your back or for being taken advantage because people are always looking for ways to cheat the system. I firmly believe that no matter how much you intend to only use that power for good, it will be corrupted in some way. It’s the way of the world today. Not to mention, I want people to spend time with me, not because of what I can do. I’ve been there too many times without a superpower. Though I will remind you that those closest to me do consider me magical.
