If you had to describe your ideal life, what would it look like?
I could take the easy way out and say I’m living my ideal life and tell you to read old posts and just leave it at that but lets be honest, as amazing as any life is there are always things we wish we had to make it just a bit better.
For me, I’d love to have a personal chef. I am not a cook and while my partner and my husband both enjoy it, to varying degrees, time and energy are also factors. We’ve had decent success with a meal delivery service but even that has its limitations and challenges. I would love to have a personal chef who could cater to all the unique preferences and allergies we have in this house. Not to mention the whims and spontaneity that must exist in house with this much ADHD.
Another thing I’d really like to have to make life ideal would be a seamstress and shoemaker that I can rely on for custom fit clothes and shoes. Are you sensing a theme yet? I’m very short and I have small but wide feet. Everything about me is difficult to fit. It would be so nice not to struggle with it. And to be able to get things fixed easily.
Other than that, life really is pretty awesome. I have a great job with an amazing boss. I have fantastic friends and chosen family. My parents have finally figured out how to work with my communication preferences so we’re doing better there. My life is full of love and creativity. I live in a beautiful location.
