Daily Prompt – May 18, 2026

I actually put a lot of thought into this. Here’s my struggle. I know there are movies that I wish I could do this for. Movies that I enjoyed the first time but every time I’ve tried to watch since, I can’t get into them because I know what to expect. Once I know what to expect it’s hard to enjoy them, especially if it’s a comedy and the humor doesn’t hit the same. The thing is I can’t seem to come up with the names of what those movies are. I know they exist but I have basically wiped their specifics from my memories. So because of this I don’t have an actual answer. What ends up happening is every movie I end up thinking about I start remembering with fondness and not the frustration I experience when actually rewatching it.
