I thought of a few that could qualify but the one that stands out the most would be “Shaun of the Dead.” I’m not a fan of most British comedies and I never really understood the concept of horror comedy. Also I don’t like stupid humor. For all of these reasons I really did not have high expectations for the movie. But I watched it because I was with others who wanted to see it. I found it far more entertaining than anticipated. So much so, I actually laughed which is a rare thing for me. It is now a movie that i willingly rewatch. I enjoyed it enough that I didn’t think twice when I was asked to go see “Hot Fuzz” which stars the same actor.
