What do you do to improve your sleep?
The thought of improving my sleep is a new concept in the last year or so. Most of my life, I’ve been able to sleep easily and deeply. I can fall asleep anywhere and pretty much any time. I slept like a rock, through everything. These days however, I wake up randomly. Sometimes I can go back to sleep quickly but other times, like last night, I’m up for a least a bit until I can fall asleep again. It’s so weird to struggle like this.
Things I do to try to help include dim the light before bed. Listen to something as I fall asleep. When I wake up in the middle of the night, I adjust position and try to fall back asleep. If it doesn’t happen quickly, I scroll on my phone or play a game that helps turn my brain off. I know that sounds counter to most sleep health advice but it’s what works for me.
Unfortunately this is a side effect of aging, especially as woman. So I’m doing the best I can.

This stage of life surely isnt easy!! I have figured that sleeping nude has helped more.often than not to regulate my body temperature. Something my younger self would never have done. Lol
