What’s a book you think deserves a sequel?
It’s hard for me to think of a book I read that I thought needed a sequel that didn’t get one. Most things I’ve ready either had that level of continuation happen or were well wrapped up at the end. There was one book I could think of, Catch-22 by Joseph Heller, that to my knowledge didn’t have a sequel and I would have liked to know what happened to those characters.
I did my research before writing, and discovered that Heller did write a sequel in 1994. This was more than 30 years after the original. I’ve obviously not read it and I’m not sure I will after the research I’ve done. It seems this was set as the characters were old men reflecting on their past. This isn’t really the story I wanted. So, I guess I can still say it deserves a sequel?
