Daily Prompt – August 8, 2026

This is Leela. She’s 17 but thinks she’s 2. She will not lay on anything that doesn’t feel secure. She will choose a hard surface over a lap. She prefers to lay on my iPad over the bed. She has recently taken to stealing the scene during my streams by making her way on to my lap desk, because it’s a stable platform and laying down on top of whatever I’m coloring. We had to start a counter for how often she does it.
