Daily Prompt – May 20, 2026

I don’t know that I want to have a legacy exactly but I want to be remembered fondly. I want to be remembered for being kind but honest. For being genuine and loving. I definitely want people to use me as an example of authenticity. I suppose I wouldn’t mind being known for my coloring or other creative endeavors. I will say I do hope I am remembered though. While I don’t necessarily need to leave behind some grand legacy, disappearing into oblivion would not be good either. I want to walk a balance between being remembered and known but not elevated beyond the simple person I am and yet also not forgotten in time. It’s a hard thing to think about honestly since I don’t have kids and don’t want them so I really don’t know who will remember me
